This is what i put in my pitch.

 What am i going to do?

•I am going to make a advert for Hellmann’s mayonnaise, before I do this I must understand the brief for Hellmann’s and use the structure given to create my advert

About Hellmann’s

Hellmann’s is a company which promotes healthy eating toppings by including it on almost all food, by using funny adverts with facts to promote what they are selling.

Hellmann’s have made a number of products but mayonnaise is its most popular

The structure

1.Getting from the Hellmann’s jar to the Hellmann’s squeeze bottle, which is two separate products

2.However you make food, use Hellmann’s mayonnaise because it is a premium brand and tastes great with anything.

3.Appeal to a wider market by using fun gags.

4.Promote real and healthy food

5.Make people enjoy eating their food.

6.Involving your social life because of the taste. Fun slogans "a different kind of dollop".

7.Get Hellmann’s on the fast food list, which is very popular.

Target audience

•The target audience that Hellmann’s mayonnaise is aimed at are young adults and students because of the creative and fun adverts that are made, by using young adults in their adverts and sociable events. For example the advert which aims directly at the target audience is a resent one, where there are two young men who are being creative with the mayonnaise by throwing it around as it is a object in a dance.

My idea

•For my idea I want to create a Wild West theme, I got this idea from the brief with the words. “There’s a new squeeze bottle in town”. I want to use these words and create the mayonnaise to be the good cowboy in town making sure that you use mayonnaise on everything you eat.

•My idea is for a young lady in her late teens or early 20s to be creating a sandwich, she almost finishes making it then she notices that the mayonnaise is there on the table dressed up as a cowboy. There is a stare of between the women and the mayonnaise then there is a loud bang which sounds like a gun shot. The lady opens her eyes then looks at her sandwich; it now has mayonnaise on it. She looks at the mayonnaise and the advert ends with a shot of the product. The whole idea is creative and fun aiming at young adults and generally people who have a sense of humour.

Music

•In the background there will be cowboy music which creates the theme and an atmosphere.

•Where to get the music from?

•I will research some more films which are Wild West films and then use the background music from that in the background. I will research YouTube.

Lights

•In the background there will be natural light from the kitchen in where the scene is set. There will be lights which are from the kitchen.

•I will need some N.D gels to get more light from the bulbs in the kitchen.

Outfit

•For the outfit for the squeeze bottle I will ether purchase a doll which is a wild west character such as Woody or I will ask my father to make the outfit as he owns his own sowing machine in his work place.
